Restore Harrow Green won the prestigious 2014 Commercial Mover of the Year award.

We have won this prestigious award twice, most recently in 2014, and were a finalist in 2015. The award is made by the British Association of Removers following a three-phase competitive process which includes: three judges interviewing selected clients, an audit by QSS (the BAR's UKAS-accredited certification body) and careful consideration by the judges. The award signifies excellence in all areas of our business including service quality and delivery, professionalism and customer care.

Vendor of the Year:

We received this award from UBS Managing Director, Andrew Owen. The award was based on our on-site performance and was measured against all other suppliers via a criteria that included "Best Practice; understanding UBS values and culture; having motivated staff; positively adapting to change and flexing in line with business requirements; consistently delivering an exceedingly high quality of service; good business management; proactively proposing cost commitment and reduction exercises; fully supporting UBS ecology initiatives and sharing ideas with the bank".

The EMMA Awards were created to celebrate excellent service in global mobility worldwide. They are awarded by the Forum for Expatriate Management, recognising the industry leaders, business successes and rising stars.

Leadership in Customer Focus:

The East London Chamber of Commerce/Docklands Business Awards were sponsored by HSBC and Canary Wharf Group. Following a detailed initial submission and against very tough Canary Wharf competition, we were shortlisted as a finalist and then invited to attend an in-depth examination of its credentials by a tough judging panel. Measured against criteria that included "Staff training and customer satisfaction; customer feedback process; continuous process of improvement; future market penetration and growth plans", we were announced as the clear winner in the 'Leadership in Customer Focus' category.

PFM Awards:

We are one of the most successful entrants in the PFM awards’ history, reaching at least the finalist stage every year that we have entered. Our most recent award in 2019 saw us winning in the Partners in Relocation category for our long standing collaborative relationship with Jaguar Land Rover which spans over two decades. Most importantly, we are the only company in our service sector to have won five times for our work with NOP, The British Library, the BBC, Telereal and BT, and in a separate category we were given the award for the standards of excellence achieved by our Training Centre.

We were a finalist in the Learning and Career Development category for the BIFM Awards 2015.

These industry-leading awards seek out the gold standard in FM and beyond. We were chosen because of our strategic approach to learning and career development; with a clear programme tailored to the specific needs of our customers and people, and strong evidence of a link between investment in learning and development, with our team and organisational success.

We were finalists for Excellence in Customer Service at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Best Innovation in FM Services:

We received this award for Best Innovation in FM Services at the Working Buildings Innovation Awards, for our equipment recycling programme. This award demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and our ability to implement successful initiatives.

This standard provides assurance to company management and employees, as well as external stakeholders, that environmental impact is being measured and improved. Our ISO 14001 certification means that we have recognised that our services can have an impact on the environment and have sought to achieve the best possible standards in identifying and addressing those impacts through externally verified and robust environmental management systems. This includes an Environment Agency Permit controlled recycling facility ensuring we can contribute to our clients' compliance requirements.

Safe Contractor is a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme, dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through industry-specific health and safety assessments. Although we are not a construction or trade supplier, we do work with partners in construction projects to provide business relocation services. We have met the Safe Contractor requirements for working in the construction industry which demonstrate our achievements in this area of our work.

This means that we have achieved the highest quality standards in our industry sector. We are the first company to achieve this for all our UK locations. The BS 8522 quality standard was developed by the BAR Commercial Moving Group in collaboration with the British Standards Institution (BSI), facilities managers and procurement and removal professionals. The standard provides the commercial moving industry with recognised, specific and measurable benchmarks which are relevant to its particular activities.

This means that JAUPT have given their seal of approval to the training we give to our delivery professionals. Their assessment includes our processes, materials and facilities. The Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) manages the approval and quality assurance of centres and courses delivering Periodic Training in line with the requirements set out in the EU Directive on Initial and Periodic Training.

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is the largest and fastest growing health and safety assessment scheme in the UK. It is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. By being accredited by CHAS, we avoid unnecessary duplication in competence assessments, saving time and resources for all involved.
